Nestlé, others pull YouTube ads over child porn controversy

Companies including Nestlé and ‘Fortnite’ maker Epic Games have “paused” advertising on YouTube while Disney has also reportedly withheld its YouTube ads spending. This comes after video blogger Matt Watson alleged YouTube’s ‘recommended’ algorithm let paedophiles share “child pornography” links via comments on videos that ran brand ads. YouTube said it took immediate action by deleting accounts.
