Delhi man sets bike on fire after he was challaned 10,000 for drink and driving

A man set his motorcycle on fire in Chirag Delhi after traffic police caught him driving under the influence of alcohol. The man had been issued a challan for drunk driving. As his motorcycle was being impounded, he mischievously set his bike on fire.
Police said that the offender has been identified as Rakesh, a resident of Sarvodaya Enclave.
According to the the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act, drink driving can attract imprisonment up to six months and/or fine up to Rs 10,000 for the first offence.
Police said a case has been registered at Malviya Nagar police station.
